pretent plays

sienna is not big on pretend play. she is probably too serioius to pretend.
when she does, her favorite is to organize a concert. i love it when she goes, "ladies and gentlmen, here is my mamma..." -- just the right tune with ups and downs. then i hit on her little guita, rock and roll style.

most of pretend plays have a serious side to it anyways. she also likes to play the doctor and patient, the teach and student -- anything in which you can switch the roles.
all are easy for me to fit in except the "monkey jumping business". i love to be the mother calling the doctor when the monkey is jumping. the difficult part is when i have to be the monkey and i have to be jumping right in the middle of the bed...
