Driving Miss Rachel

Our mission today was to drive Rachel to do her "thingie" (her own word): A birthday party and then the ballet class afterwards. So we planned our day around that. Last night, Sienna got excited hearing the word "birthday party." I told her it was for 10-year-olds. Still she put on her party dress and said, "I'm going to peek at the door."

We ended up hanging around at a community center where the party took place. The party though was nothing Sienna imagined it to be. It was a game "Survivor", apparently the reality show take-off. Rachel's tribe lost but she had fun. The room of 30 10-year-olds screaming is a far cry from Sienna's volumn requirement. I thought it was her good chance for getting used to real life. In her day-to-day life, she adjusts volumn after she picks her music!
