Universal Mothers Club

Image hosted by Photobucket.comDear XXX,

Lately I kept getting forwarded email messages that were originated from you. It came to a point where I just couldn't ignore them without making such a contact with you.

First of all, I want to take another opportunity to express my gratitude to you. Your input and advice took a good part of what shaped my life today. And I am forever thankful to you. It's unfortunate that our friendship couldn't continue. But even a marriage could fail while neither party is particularly at fault, agreed?

Secondly, although we are not communicating directly, I am so glad to know how we are both keen on the topic of motherhood. Again, like anything else, maybe we approach it in very different ways. It's good to know, geographically at least, we could belong to the same chapter of the "Universal Mothers Club". I even have a blog site devoted to my daily accounts of raising my daughter Sienna. http://minimum12.blogspot.com/

Finally, being a mother made me wonder how my life was even worth living before. Here I am, also wishing to acknowledge that you were correct, as you are almost always, when you gave me the heads-up about the whole experience of motherhood.

I hope, and I know that all must be well with you. If you don't mind, put my email address on your list with a subject line that carries or concerns "motherhood." Or else, I will get it anyways as I already did...

Best wishes,

  • Hey Min,

Got hooked on your blog and have been reading most of it. Absolutely love your style of parenting and I think Sienna is an amazing wonderful little girl for her age. I have a 2 year old and hope one day will turn out to be a bit like Sienna.
