Cinderella, the Worker

Friday night, Sienna was ecstatic when I did give her the Cinderella dress that she had dreamt about all along. And she has been on that dress for over two days now. Tomorrow she will have to wear it again for the school party and of course trick or treat in the evening. But apparently, it needed a wash and a press.

The dress itself is for 4-6 year old. I already worked on it for at least 2 taking in the length for 3 inches to fit 4 and half year old Sienna. Now, I had to work on it again. I washed it, let dry and ironed it. So exactly, who is the Cinderella here. Ok, Sienna is Cinderella who loves the royal ball. I am also Cinderella, the worker, working and washing, for her. I remember the line in Will and Grace, "I am not only your mother, I am also your maid." I am getting there.
