Dangerous World Always

We live in a dangerous, people. In less than three months, we got two letters from city's Public Health Department. Both "important messages" have almost identical contents, informing Sienna might have exposed herself to a highly communicable disease called Pertussis or Whooping Cough. The first letter located the source of infection at the daycare near my office where Sienna used over the Christmas holiday. We didn't get serious about it. The second letter dated 1 week ago pinpoints the source to a kid in the classroom next to Sienna's. Chances of getting infected exist for another 10 days from today. This time, I decided to do a little investigation about it.

I checked "Pertussis"on the internet. As I found out the Chinese equivanlant name is "A-Hundred-Day Cough." Supposed that is more vivid and explanatory than "Whooping Cough." That relaxed me because it was a common disease when we grew up. I don't remeber getting it. My brother did for sure.

I don't want myself to be more worried than necessary or more vonerable than before. If there is a possible danger, find out the nature of it and find a way to avoid it. If it's unavoidable, find a way to minimize it. If it cannot be minimized, then bear with it. I wish there is a better way to cope with living in a dangerous world like ours.

So pretty and so pretty nastry pertussis bacterias
