Talk of Astrology: Katie's Kitten

The famous couple "TomKat" welcomed the arrival of their kitten yesterday. The birthdays for mother (Katie Holmes December 18, 1978) and daughter (April 18, 2006) are exactly 4 months apart, making their suns a perfect trine between Sagittarius and Aries. So are their moons in Trine (mother's Leo, daughter's Sagittarius). With both of them having sun and moon in fiery signs, they are very much in tune with each other personality wise. Having their mercury placements both in fire elements makes them think alike. Katie has her Mars in earth sign and the kitten has hers in water -- no conflict there either. Basically, their minds are masculine and expansive. And their movements are quite feminine, steady and sensual.

This mother/daughter pair has very similar dynamic between me and Sienna, except theirs is fiery and ours is predominantly watery. The smoothness in their relationship could in fact go beyond ours because they also have their animal signs in the most harmonious aspects (Katie is the horse/the kitten is the dog).

Astrologically, Tom Cruise is a far less compatible Daddy to his daughter. Having sun/moon both in Cancer, he is willing to do more than a mother and a father combined. He is so caring that he is domineering. He is so sensitive that he is trivious. Both Katie and the Kitten were not born to be used to his overbearing way of caring. He is completely at odd with them, and with Nichole Kidman for that matter. It was a miracle that Nichol put up with him for so long. And I am waiting to see how long this other miracle (marriage) will last. I hope the age gap will help bridge the personality gap and their tiger and horse energy will prevail their conflicts in the zodiac.

P.S. Brooke Shields also gave birth to a baby girl yesterday. I suspect the whole arrangement is meant for Brooke Shileds to go through another post-partum depression, together with Katie Holmes. This way, we public can sit with popcorns in hands to watch how scientology and psychiatry beat each other in the ring, real time.
