A Day in the Life of Our Car

Here is how the day has run it's course so far.

First thing in the morning, Daddy dropped off Sienna and drove the car to the dealership for an universal recall appointment. It has something to do with the ignition. That sure gave an explanation. In the past 4 years, we had twice having difficulty starting the car without finding any fault with the batteries.

Anyway, the shuttle was supposed to pick up Daddy to get the car. The time was running out. The dealership had to send a taxi to get Daddy. They had a very slow day. The car didn't get fixed.

Not a big deal. Just another another appointment. I was so wrong. I was going out to get some oven cleaner. When I came back out I couldn't start the car on the parking lot. I had to try to contact CAA or get someone to jump start the car like before. While I spent the time calling people and waiting, I thought I might just give it another try. Guess what, it started! I stepped on the petal and ran for my life.

That's how the odds could have been. It was very easy to say, "SAAB sucks." Yet I really love our car. It's hip. Seinfeld drove the car in our favorite Seinfeld show. It is a beautiful piece of machine in all aspects, except the ignition. That's been recalled and only if that could be fixed today if not any earlier.
