Guest of Honor

I rang up the husband and this is what I had to say.

"Listen, I didn't have the time to consult you. I signed up for a company function. I have never been so enthusiastic about this type of thing. Guess what? They allow us to bring a GUEST! Never happened before. It's going to be a wonderful evening: wine and dine, followed by a well known band. The band's name has something to do with the second month of the year... The only requirement is that I have to be go once signed up. Otherwise, I will have to pay $90 for each ticket. Isn't that just great?"
