Strike Is On

Early in the morning... Stepping outside the house and smelling the fresh air, I appreciated our front lawn and back yard that are coming together in a beautiful entity of greenness. Somebody in the neighborhood drove zooming by and stopped right in front of me, "if you wait for the bus, it won't come..." He took off before I could ask him anything. I was puzzled by the ambiguity of his statement, "The bus won't come becaus of me waiting for it?" I walked over anyways to the bus stop and spread the exact statement to another girl. Only then, I realized another strike was actually on, without a warning like before! I turned around and dashed my way to the train stop at an unprecedented speed...

Everybody found their way to come to work, with a lot of sweating and swearing. I had the least hassle. In fact, taking the commuter train should be a preferred way for me health wise. It involves walking for a total of at least 40 minutes in a day - something I would never imagine myself doing when I have an alternative of doing about 10 minutes all together.

The train was so crowded today as all the people neglected at the cost of the union interest came aboard. Do not expect a complaint from me about the crowd. I am a former Commie, remember? I have a lot of experience with the crowd and very experienced elbows. Not that I love it, only that I can handle it well.
