Bagel Loyalist
I have some pretty stubborn traits in my character. I have close friends whom I first met when I was about Sienna age. I buy clothes and shoes in a couple of stores only. I go to a few restaurants for years and years and order the same kind of things always. I can stick to one thing for breakfast till I die or I make a huge commitment to switch. Lucky I never got close to any cocaine.
At Tim Horton's this morning, I suddenly told the girl that I wanted my bagel with Herb Garlic Cream Cheese instead of my usual butter. I have meant to do this for so long, but I couldn't bear to give up the crispy and greasy feel of my double toasted bagel every morning.
I moved on to the other girl preparing my bagel. She stopped at the toasted bagel on the table, looking up to me. Her eyes were questioning, “is this yours? But, no butter today?” Understanding her doubts, I said, “Yeah, I am changing it.” With my assurance, She smiled and went back to the bagel. I continued to explain, “You know, that was not enough to carry me through the morning.” Right there, she took another scoop of cream cheese and spread it over my bagel. Apparently she assumed that I was complaining about the size of the first scoop. "Oh, no, no, no," I had to hurry in and explain myself again.
See, the trouble of breaking a routine! I might as well go back to my usual Whole-Wheat-Honey-Bagel-Double-Toasted-Double-Butter Routine next time.

Hi, Mama Bok, I hope all is well with you. I am wondering about your hiatus like other people.
I complained that it was not
toasted enough. they said I could do that. they also could give you artificial flavour shot for $.50, huh?
