Thursday 13 - Shoes Should & Shouldn't
Being a simple and basic person, I try to understand why it has always been such a difficult task for me to buy a pair of shoes. Now looking at my requirements stretched into such a long list below, I realize, like everything else in life, simple and basic things are in fact harder to find.
1) They should be genius leather.
)They should not be too shiny. Nothing put on my body should be shiny except the platinum necklace my mother gave me.
)They should not be too pointy. Pointy shoes create a sense of insecurity. And it increases my chance of getting tripped by three times.
)The style doesn't have to be in. But it should not been outdated. I am very fashion sensitive except I don't follow every trend.
)Soft soles should be preferred. They should not be slippery or make noise when I walk bristly around non-carpeted area of the office.
)They should be be color black. I have non-black shoes on my shelves and they stay there forever.
)The heels should not be too thin and too high.
)They should not have flat heels. My pants are usually long. My 5'4" frame needs a little boost to feel just right. Besides flat heels make me feel I could flip backwards when I stand still.
)They should not have any ornamant, i.e., floral, knots, fringe or seams made for the purpose of decorating.
)They should be very well made to be extremely comfortable to wear and extremely comfortable to look at.
)They should come from three shoe stores simply because I have no faith in or experience of getting a pair from anywhere else.
)The heel should not have leather wrapped outside. In a day or day they are sure to be ripped.
)They should not appear to be in two type of textures. No collage. No kniting patterns.
