Lunch Invention

To live a well-balanced life, we need to treat ourselves as our own children. We need to pamper ourselves, discipline ourselves and sometimes even punish ourselves - basically anything you would do to bring up a child.

So, in case I, like a child, start to complain about the terrible lunch menu at the food court, I have been making a continuous effort to keep new options coming. Today, I went to a food store called "Kitchen Table" to shop for my lunch - a beautiful Boston lettuce and a few slices of smoked salmon. The lettuce had its muddy root stilled attached to it. I washed a few leaves of the lettuce, shook off the extra water and patted them dry with paper towels. I lay one leaf on a plate and then lay a slice of smoked salmon on top of it. A few layers later, I rolled the whole thing up. Straightly from my mind and from the office kitchen table, I made myself a "Boston lettuce/smoked salmon roll". I hope someone can help me name this lunch item, which is absolutely precious to look at and delicious to eat. I am a happy child today.
