Mommy on the Move
I can work in an emergency-room like environment, as long as I am kept in that room or an enclosed space. Once I have to move from one point to another in space, I am up for a test: not sure what time it will take from one place to another, not sure what will happen in between. Saturday has been a day of test. I set out with Sienna for her A)9:00 piano lesson, B)1:00pm Chinese program and C)3:30pm ballet. Today, the tasks seemed to be multiplied because in between A) and B), I had to pick up some photo prints for the husband and some grocery items. Then in between B) and C), I drove downtown to drop off something for my friend J who was leaving on her vacation to Italy.
After I dropped off Sienna for ballet, I was driving along debating what would be the more time efficient thing to do: go to a nearby mall or a library. Suddenly, I looked up the rear mirror and saw the empty booster seat... I turned around, “What? my baby is missing!?” In a shortest second, my heart dropped to a bottomless pit. For another longest second, I pulled myself back to realize what had occurred to my confused mind due to the space shuffling...
Still, I prefer putting everything into one day to having to go out for something every day.
