Free Bird's Nest
It was the first day of the first week of being a stay at home mom, yet Daddy ended up driving us to school in the morning. It was pouring hails like damping rice grains on the snow covered ground. Because of the weather condition, this free bird decided to stay put and settle the nest.
Officially, we have 2 Mac and 2 PC computers at home. I switched them up and down, this way and that for all justified reasons. By the end of the day, I got them all networked, to each other and to the WWW, physically or wirelessly. How is this important to our livelihood? It feels extremely. Or other things simply couldn’t move on.
When I took Sienna back, she wanted to play in the snow. I got her all bundled up with the “Warmest Jacket” and “Warmest Snow Pants” set, but I didn’t want to go into the trouble for myself. So I stood inside watching her with the door ajar. I figured if I saw even the slightest threat, I would have enough time to shoot myself out to protect my baby. With about 15 minutes, I saw 7 cars passing by, but not a single soul walking by. Sienna was busy building something with her little hands. At one point, she lay down and tried the snow angles moves.
Tonight, she helped me clean up her room where she left a mess when they played their fashion shows two nights ago. She tried to hang up her clothes with hangers in her closet till she used all of them. She always became that way just before I wanted to lead her there. Right now, I really need to clean up the house, one spot at the time. For this free bird, nest is the most important part.
