A Smart Cookie
Saturday routine as usual. I wanted to invite Yiga and the family over for dinner. But I had no time to do prepare anything. I went to M's place to get the software and fix some hardwaware problems -- things I needed to set up a proper home office environement. So I decided I was going to get some takeout for everybody at home. On the way there, Sienna wanted her iPod. It could not be turned off. She determined, "Mommy, the battery is out." I cannot believe it. I charged it full last night to prepare for today's piano lesson! She was right. It was off. Then she said, "Oh, I know. You put it in your bad. And it got squeezed and got turned on and never shut off."
Sienna was actually right about it excet iPod would asleep in a few seconds. But, today I left the recording plug-in attatched to it. By accident something pushed it on in my bag, left nearly 2 hours' recording of nothing on the device and drained all the battery power. We never had even the similar experience before. This bright girl of ours got it figured out. How amazing! On another note, she told me that Santa Clause didn't give her any present. The Cinderalla clock she received was in fact coming from me. How did she know? It was the same wrapping paper. Every year, I made an effort to use a different paper. But I forgot this year. She caught me.
After we had dinner, Rachel and Sienna put on their fashion shows. I did some video clips. I cannot express how lucky Sienna is to have Rachel in her life. There was this scene where Rachel blamed Sienna, "Oh, you are late." Sienna went, "Yes, I am fasionably late." It was ultra cute. All Rachel's directing, Sienna did very well being the co-star. At the end of it, they even asked for donations -- all going into the Princess Sienna Fund, which now totals $100.03 since it was established over the Christmas time.
