A Spiderman Birthday Cake
A couple of weeks ago, Sienna told me that she didn't want a cake to be served at her birthday party. "Cakes are not healthy for you," said she.
Last night after attending a birthday party with P and a play date with him afterwards, she seemed to have changed her mind.
"I want a spider man cake for my birthday," she requested with earnest. "What?" I was surprised, "a spiderman cake for you, no princess?"
"Patrick doesn't like a princess cake, let's give him a spiderman cake."
It looks like my daughter would do anything for a man, just like me, her mother. It's not clear though at this age if this applies to a guy or a friend in general. I remember Sienna told me once, "Mommy, you love me. You love Olivia (her best friend) too." I was like, "Geez, Olivia has HER mother!"
