When Praying Seems to be the Only Option...

Everyday, I talk to different friends about each others' problems in life. Today, for example, one complained that she was taken advantage of and the other party was not grateful and respectful enough. The other friend was trying to get the best deal for a job he was interviewed for. These are the areas that I have confidence in contributing to with my opinions and suggestions. When people hit you, you hit back as long as you don't hurt yourself while hitting back. When it comes to money, make as much as you can, or else be happy with what you can have. These are all simple matters compared with our physical well being. We feel helpless though when it comes to the health of our own loved ones.

My mother had to go through another surgery to remove some growth on her thyroid gland. I was so worn out with the idea. I was almost calling them every minutes of their waking hour to keep in touch. Finally at night, the news came. They removed the growth and had a test done right on spot. It was not cancerous!!! I was tremendously relieved.

She returned home tonight our time and I ordered a bouquet of flowers to keep her company as soon as she arrived home. Thank to internet, it took 2 hours to deliver. I promised we will take vacation together sometime this year when she recovers.

Sienna heard us talking a bit here and there. Sienna heard us talking a bit here and there about grand mom's health. Tonight, she said to me, "Mommy, tell me about it. Tell me everything." Then she said she needed to go to China because she really missed her grand mom. Just what I am feeling -- we are in tune again.
