I Love New York
I just came back from my short visit to New York City. It was a business trip. I went to settle a deal with a company that was founded in 1744.
I hate to go anywhere. But that city is not anywhere else. I felt so much at home there. Universally, everybody seems to display his optimum intelligence and carries an air. I could strike a conversation with anybody on the street. They are like my friends. In my many visits to the city over the years, I remember many faces that I only know through chance encounters:
- a guy in Penn Station having one shoe on and carrying the other under his arm
- a lady in her 60s whom I met on my 10 minutes subway ride and made me think, "I want to be like her when I grow old."
- a guy in a black coat whom my friend with me commented, "I could easily date this guy."
- a priest telling people how he was good at hosting a funeral on the street
... ...
I love New York City, especially it's people. And we will take Sienna there in March.
