Fairy God Mother for Real

We had brunch today with my dear friend A and two of her main men, her father and her son. Only in Canada, a Chinese kid like Sienna has a Jewish God mother like A. There is very little religious connotation. If any, it shows that we share the same conviction that people are fundamentally the same. That’s what A’s father said over the meal anyways. Having not a declared religion, I could go further to say that the world is probably a better place without any religion.

In our case, “Fairy God Mother” is a more appropriate name than “God Mother“. When Cinderella was missing the chance and an outfit to go to the royal ball, she had a magical one coming her way singing, “bibidi bobidiboo…” Sienna has got one even nothing is missing in her life. Like a Fairy God Mother, A took Sienna to the Toy Mountains for some magical times. One of the games, 20 Q is amazing. The little gadget will guess what in your mind, almost always right on, when you answer 20 questions it asks.
