the Tooth Fairy Tale

Sienna had another tooth fell out. Like the first one, there is already another tooth waiting at the back. Practically, she had no missing teeth so far. She has been looking forward to have missing tooth. It’s a sign of growing up. And there is also the tooth fairy magic to be unfolded.

When the first tooth fell out, we were in China. To save the trouble of acting as the tooth fairy myself, I said to her, “well, I guess there isn’t any tooth fairy in China.” This time around, I had to play out the drama, like I did with Santa. It was too later at night when I realized that. I couldn’t call anybody to consult what a tooth fairy would do in this case. I remembered it had something to do with a coin from the book I read her. I had difficult time looking for a shining new toonie. So I replaced her tooth with a quarter coin with a deer’s head, Sienna calls it her lucky quarter.

This morning she woke up and found the quarter excitedly. I didn’t even say a word. So much is the tale.
