On A Mission for a Missing Dog

Being a stay-at-home person, you are basically on a mission for emergency situation like this one. I was called upon this morning after my coffee and grocery. J’s dog went missing. His stay-at-home mom was not home. I took on the mission of driving J around the neighborhood to look for the dog.

The dog, also name “J”, is blind and yet adventurous. You know, dogs are like people and never created equal. Their other dog of the same spices and similar age, facing the equal opportunity of an ajar front door, always chooses to stay in.

Not long into the search, we got a phone call. Somebody found the dog, 20 houses down the court street they live. After the dog search, I came home and went on the food mission. I made myself a cream mussel soup. All by myself, I had 2.5 lb of mussel, weighted with the shells on of course, over a glass of the Australian Yellow Label. The husband took his chili bean paste noodles instead. About people from the northern China, I cannot give up the label, “Oh, the Poor people!”

I don’t need to be reminded about my seriously mission of the major move to the east. It’s in the back of my mind. I am moving slowly, still reluctant to take it on.
