Into the House of Cards

Playing cards was a constant game in the house I grew up. I remember watching how my parents and their friends gathered every now and then doing their card dealing business. I would sometimes sit on their laps and be part of the excitement of losing and winning.

Sienna had long history of playing cards with her Daddy. They set up rules together. This time, it’s for real. I think by accident, I have taught her how to play a kind of the card game that I played at an age much older than hers. It’s still a very popular card game for older children and adults. It involves sorting the cards in certain order and trying to get rid of your cards as soon as possible. She absolutely loves the game!
