No Ella Effect

The lady who comes to cook and clean doesn’t like going to shop for groceries. Other ladies working for my friends love to spend the time in the supermarket. They make a trip even for a bottle of soy source. What’s so difficult about helping other people spending their money? I guess people are different. I don't I blame her. J is more like me, a home buddy.

So today, when J had to go shopping, she asked Sienna if she could go with her and to keep her company. She made that requests a few times before. Sienna, another home buddy, usually shook her head. This time, maybe with a few snack ideas in her mind, Sienna said yes.

I don’t know J long enough and don’t feel comfortable enough for her to take my daughter out of my sight. So I took Sienna to her room and said, “I don’t want you to go with J. And I don’t want her to know that I don’t want you to go with her.” Sienna replied, “Ok, I am going to watch my TV. When she asks, I am going to say I don’t want to go.”

Sienna and I have been reading the book “Ella Enchanted.” The girl in the book was cursed by a spell that made her ready to take any order placed on her. I don’t suspect for one second Sienna got the spell for being so obedient. She is just one ultra understanding little person. It’s a dangerous world out there, remember?
