A Plain Cold Day

The plain fact about the plain cold weather: It's -23c outside, in fact-35c with the wind-chill factored in. The sun is shinning bright but it isn't going to help much. The highest is -16c today. If I look at the weather broadcast alone, I am not even looking forward to the weekend. A major snowstorm is on the way: a 10-15 centimetres of frosted flakes will blanket the area by tomorrow morning. What about the ballet sienna has been waiting for the whole week? What about the Chinese play group at the school?
