Tuned in to Good Tunes
I was doing the dishes after dinner, Sienna blurted out, nicely and slowly, a familiar song in what appeared to be a foreign language. "What is this?" I asked.
It happened to be the theme song of The Chorus (Les Choristes). I was amazed. A couple of months ago, Abby gave me a copy of the soundtrack. We played it at her house and I played it a number of times at ours. Sienna remembered it and just let it out!
When she was younger, Sienna would listen to big Sister Rachel sing, everything, or anything, admiringly. Now she does that herself. Like the other day, she was doing Hilary Duff's - "Let the rain fall down I'm coming clean..." I don't even know where and when she picked it up. But, hey, take a listen to this from The Chorus theme song - not an easy tune to imitate, let alone in full length. Very impressive!
She seems to be tuned in to only good tunes. A lot like me. Everything nice in music sounds familiar to me upon my first hearing it.
