Thursday 13 - Blast From the Past

I haven't worked long enough in my life. Way too much of my time was spent at school. To me, to study means to work, then to work is like to have fun. Yesterday afternoon, we had a major email blast going back and forth across east and west coasts among 5 of us colleagues from my previous job. In one of the email messages, I started to list of things and scenes that made me think that I had fun working with them for about 13 months, 5 years ago:

1> E pushed a chair around the office floor while M sitting on it.
2> M walked around asking everybody "are you getting outside email?"
3> E knocked at our door at 11pm with others and we all went for a drink at a bar named "Bohemian" a few houses down the street.
4> Ice cream cart rolled around the office floor ding ding ding during the summer.
5> I had to scream at our supervisor UW on behalf of S.
6> The whole department stuff went to a movie at 2pm because a new cinema was opened in the building across the street.
7> I left work half an hour earlier so that I could get ready for a steak BBQ party for about 10 people from the team.
8> The company paid from time to time for our lunch at germent restaurants, probably as a way to compensate our below-industry-standard.
9> Our supervisor E ordered our lunch on-line before we arrived at the restaurant.
10> The Company's kids Christmas party with presents and at the presence of Santa and his wife helped us make up our mind to have a kid so that we didn't get left out.
11> Bought lunch and ate at a nearby graveyard, checking out the best possible spot for ourselves.
12> Colleagues lined up to buy me lunch to pay for my individual astrological consultations.
13> I fled the company and three others came to join me within 2 months.
