How Wrong Were We!?
A few years ago, if Daddy and I saw a kid dressed like this, we would frown to each other with a concealed agreement, "Major disaster! Look at what the parents do to the kid!! Our kid will never be like that!!!"
Now we got to look at our very own precious princess whom we love to death. We cannot help but comfort each other, "Don't look at her dress. She is so beautiful inside." In fact, we didn't buy her the dress. It's Auntie Julie's fault. I only gave her the Tiara, oh, and the wings.
The agreement is not to praise the dress and not to criticize it. Let's see this as a phase, with an understanding there are a lot of other phases to follow. We are well braced for anything.
