To Love Is To Endure
Not that it has anything to do with love. But my love of shea butter products have gotten some attention. A while back, I got a basket package of shea butter everything. I picked up a small bottle and brought it to my office to moisturize my dry hands. For some reason it's not been doing the job well. When applied, it's sticky first and then it dries very soon. Besides, it has an annoying strong smell which some people refer to as fragrance.
I have problems with fragrance in general. Once I got physically sick for the whole afternoon from Channel No. 5 my colleague was test wearing back from her lunch break. The particularly strong smell of this shea butter lotion caught attention of my other colleague D. I said "hey, if you like it, you can have it. I had enough of it." I meant it. So he had it.
This morning, he called me to his desk and asked what I gave him. "A stinky bottle of hand lotion." No, as he showed me, it is a bottle of shea butter BODY WASH. I had been using it on my hand and enduring the smell. That's how far I would go to display my loyalty to a product or to a friend for that matter.
