Three Booboos in One Day
I came home and saw Sienna had a broken upper lip and a sractch on her forehead. I asked why. She didn't want to tell me. Pressed, she said, "it's a long story." No story was told and I didn't press no more. She was happy and uplifting. Before bed time, she was turning and swirling in her bedroom and "boom", she hit her left eye area again on the bed side. The bed sheet marked another scratch on the corner of her eye. I felt so bad. Seriously, I am willing to learn and put up with a lot of adversaries in life. Let me be penniless, let me get no respect from people, let me be inadequate, or even let me suffer physically, one thing I will never be able to cope well is to see my loved ones suffer from pain. I don't think she suffered from pain. Just the sight of the little injuries made my heart ache... And the fear of not being able to avoid danger is so unsettling...
