Modern Day Taoist

I am fundamentally a modern day Taoist, if Tao is what I understand it to be. I believe in the power that nature gave me when I was created. I understand the power will persist only when I recognize every step of the way the limits to that power. I endure when I must. I enjoy when I can. Like a sunflower plant, I know which direction to turn is the best for my existence. Like a little rabbit, I run when a danger becomes imminent. Like the water in a stream, I know to wear off a piece of rock would be like eating a piece of a cake — the only difference is the length of the time. I love because it’s the necessity to live. I hate when it makes me feel alive. I hit back when I get hit. I forgive because it’s easier than keep fighting. I forget bad things because it's more enjoyable to remember good things... I want to be as natural as I can be. As I understand that culture has become our second nature. The only way to stay natural is to be open to all kinds of cultural experiences while never losing the purpose of such doing...
