An Outing That Didn't Turn Out to Be

Since we are leaving tomorrow, the brother and his wife decided to take us on a trip to the country site. The activities include lunch, of course, rafting and visit to a local homestead. I had problem taking a car ride on the spiral winding roads, typical in the rural area of my home town. And I was a nerves wreck last year when my brother drove me to a nearby county. I didn't know I would wind up taking a very similar trip. Sienna was so very excited to see the mountains. I managed to calm my own nerves...

The negative energy in me did have an impact; it actually broke down the car. We stopped in the middle of no where. Cell phones had no signals. My brother hitch hacked somebody to get help. We waited there for about 3 hours fighting car exhausters, mosquitoes and bees. Eventually we got picked up by a brand new Nissan and our car got towed by a towing company. My sister in law said she felt so sorry that we didn't make it to the other side of the mountains. I was pleased that my suffering on the winding roads was cut at least half.
