Compliment Comes Around
It was another happy moment when I arrived at the school at the end of the day. I looked at my girl, who was chatting with the teacher:"Hey, who is this girl? Her face is familiar..." Sienna was not in a rush to come home; she was chatting and playing with everybody. Then she requested if she could play in the snow again. "Sure," I agreed. She was very grateful.
We heard this loud crying from the other end of the hallway. "Why is she upset?" I asked. Sienna said, "Maybe her mommy dosen't let her play in the snow. My mommy let me play in the snow. My mommy let me dance around in the house. My mommy let me do lots of things. I have a very nice mommy. Oh, look, mommy, your hair is messy." She started to comb back my hair with her hand. "Is it better now?" My heart just melted.
