Pigeon in the Hall

The play we went with J and his mom to see is "Don't let the pigeon drive the bus". It's about a persistent pigeon with a dream. He whines, bribes, pleads and even sing a song to get his own way with the bus driver. Did he eventually get to drive? I don't know. Because as usual, I was busy dozing off during many of these kids' shows. I kind of know why this little pigeon show gets its way into the city's most sacred concert hall. Ok, its writer did Sesame Street, won several Emmy awards and all that. It's March Break, remember? Many parents like me and J's mom are more than ready to spend $40 apiece just to be in that place for a while and get the feel especially when a pigeon is there. We were at the central section of the second row.
