An Early Reader As She Turned

The main thing is that I am not a huge reader myself. I only read when something universally acclaimed comes along. Or I have to read other people’s writing because I need to do some writing of my own. There doesn’t seem to be a definite correlation between reading a lot and having an education, in my case anyways.

Even though I didn’t motivate my daughter to become an earlier reader, she seems to have become one herself. She develops her reading skill through her preschool education. Recently she seems to pick up the intensity in book reading.

She carries her books everywhere she goes. We went to a supermarket after the camp late this afternoon. I ran into a friend who didn’t see Sienna since she was a little baby. I turned around and led him to the shopping cart where Sienna was sitting. There she was reading a book! It appeared that I could be one of those parents who have really overdone making their kids read whenever and wherever.
