Unspoken Comment
Our house has never looked so nice and neat, in my eyes, anyways. We had implemented a series of home improvement projects last month. During that period of time, there were minor or major changes by the end of the day every day. Yet I was very surprised that Sienna who always spots a tarnished penny or an astray ant on the street side-walk didn’t comment much about those obvious changes when she came home. I even mentioned to Daddy about the uncharacteristic obliviousness of her.
One day though, when she was venting because I didn't let her eat snack before dinner, she went, in a by-the-way but serious manner, “Mommy, I don’t like the changes you made to the house. You please change back to what it was before, everything!”
