2 Openings in One Day

For the rest of the world, China announced the start of the 29th Olympic Games with a grand ceremony. For us, we had a little ceremony at the husband’s studio to mark the beginning of his epic-like paintings. Sienna was the honorable person to cut the ribbon (a makeshift of Olympic circle-like paper chain made by herself). Later we brought back the chain to decorate out house. We ate dinner and watched on TV the awe-inspiring opening show at the Bird’s Nest, about 12 kilometers from where we live.
