Party Yet Again

We were up very late this morning. I started eating yesterday's leftover for breakfast with a glass of red wine. It was close to lunch time already. Took Sienna to meet Olivia's family in the afternoon on a playground. J came back for some other reason and brought us a huge bouquet of lilies. The whole floor was immensed in the scent. I got more fruits, kind of preparing for the arrival of my old classmate Olive from my university year and his family. He called on Friday saying they would arrive at 6pm today. If this was my promise, it would have been just a vague idea. On time even when you are on vacation?!

At exactly 6 o'clock, the whole family pulled in on our drive way. The couple were basically hooked up via me at the university. And I haven't seen them for over a decade... all the excitements... We went on to meet another classmate's family and ended up at a restaurant around a big round table with 12 people -- adults and kids all together. How amazing! The spouses, the kids. No imagination could have taken us this far back then...
