A Nice Little Scene

Saturday Routine. I took Sienna to the Chinese program and I went to have my singing lesson. I came back on time to get her out of the program. I watched her as she put her own jacket on. Then she turned to the pile of jackets again and pulled out Olivia’s. She followed Olivia out, who clearly forgot her jacket. Sienna passed her the jacket without a word and helped her put jacket on. I know Sienna is quite attentive to other people’s need. Still it’s nice scene to observe a five-year-old treating another five-year-old like this. So natural as if no teaching is involved or ever needed.
