"An American in Paris" is in Town
She finished her months' stay in Buenos Aires, flew back to Paris, flew out to her home town Buffalo for a weekend function and drove up here to meet us before heading for California for a wedding. So I got to meet her for the first time in person after we became friends over the internet for a few years.
I am not an easy person to become a fan of anybody. Yet, I have been SW's fan for over ten years now. She is a highly intuitive person and extremely talented writer. Her best-seller book "The New Astrology" presents 144 profiles for the entire human race, based on our western astrological signs (Aries, Taurus and so on so forth...) and their signs of the Chinese animal year (Rat, Pig and so on so forth...). So fluid, so accurate. She writes like Chinese writting in Chinese. She writes like what I would write only that I don't have the ability to.
I bougth several copies of her books to give away as presents to my friends. About four years, B, another fan of hers and a friend of mine, who had contact with SW, asked her to give me a surprise. She was obliged and wrote me to say "hi." I worte back to tell her that in fact she and I were the same kind out of those 144 speices she created. Afterwards she was looking for someone to redesign her website, I volunteered and of course I got the job.
That pretty much sums up a long story of our friendship. Last night, we took her to Chinese restaurants. At least that was what we can offer in this town. Tonight, I left Sienna with Olivia's family. We had a girls' night out at another Chinese restaurant with my friend J and her friend C.
