Talk of Astrology: Two Leo Cooking Goddesses

Cancer is considered to be a domestic and motherly sign. People with Cancer influence are known to be good at cooking and taking care of their loved ones, particularly in and around the house.

But why both of the America's most famous domestic divas, Martha Stewart and Julia Child, are under none Cancer influenece? In fact, both of them have their sun signs in fiery Leo. Stewart does have Cancer as her Mercury, the planet of communication. That's where the soft and magnetic voice comes from. Other than that, her temperament is very much masculine by nature.

Consider they don't just cook from their own house for the people in the house. Consider they do it on the television. Consider their cooking is a show-making process rather than a food-making. Who does best in putting up a show? They got to be Leo. To them, colors are as important as, if not more important than the tastes. To them, appearance is as important as, if not more important than the substance.

Therefore, I'd say we need to look through the appearance in order to understand what astrology implies in each situation.
