Feeling Rich

Sienna got an electronic money jar from a friend. The special thing about this piggy bank is that it reads the coin you put in and always shows you the total. In the past week, Sienna had put in a total of $75.38 by breaking in her other piggy banks and collecting changes left on shelves, laundry table and everywhere.

Sienna still has the potential to gather a lot more without leaving the house to start her job. Every time we moved, the movers we hired were amused to find how many coins were scattered on every corner of our house. If you believe it was a plot, it was in case we run out of money in the bank, we can always find some changes right in our house enough to last for a few days when we can prepare ourselves to go onto the streets.

Last night, Sienna was asking me what she could do with the money, $67 something at that time. I happened to be browsing on the pre-order page of the 12 dancing princesses game. I pointed the $68 figure to her. She was enchanted, "I am so close!" That’s why she was speeding up the money gathering effort today. We found another pile this morning. When I was getting my changes from the guy at a coffee shop drive through, I heard Sienna shouting from the back seat, "mommy, please give me the money." On her way home, she said, "I am rich now, Mommy. I want everybody to be rich." Right now, it’s good enough that she knows money is used to acquire things that you wants. The part, the main part, about how the money comes along will come along later.
