A Borrowed Brother
We were going to have dinner with the C's family. The rest of the day still needed to be planned out. Sienna wanted to play with HER friends. I made a round of calls. Olivia is out of the country. "What about Dylan? I want to play with Dylan." So I did make arrangement for Olivia's brother to come. Sienna had told me a couple of months ago that Dylan had become her friend too. So together with a 3-year-old boy, Sienna had an amazing day. They drew pictures, built a cardboard house and had noodle lunch together. Everywhere they go, they ride on the magical car we brought back from China.
As the parent of the only child, part of the work is to help them establish the human connections with friends instead of siblings. I should be happy that Sienna would ask for friends to play with, let alone her friend's brother.

Yes.. you are right.. Min.. :) as usual.. kekeke!! i worry too.. about chloe mixing with other kids.. coz' she isn't as exposed.. as she should be. And Papa BoK is the most unfriendly person.. except for work.. so it makes it harder.. for us.. to mix around with "friends" and their family.
